Remarks

An Autonomous INSTITUTE with AICTE approved and one of eight government instute in Maharashtra. Good lab facilities, hostel and mess facilities, on average staff,good curriculum, library and many more facilities available there. On an average good government college for BE and BTech.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is good as it is quite related to ESE and PSUs syllabus so it is quite easy for gate aspirants to complete there theory part. There is exam of complete 100 marks for each subject consists of 15 marks of two UT, internals of 10 marks and ESE of 60 marks.

Placement Experience

On an average company visit this college more number of IT and Software companies visit this college. Core company are less in number so many of core studentds gets less opportunities for core comapny. Average package of 10lac p.a. offered to student.

College Events

There are many events held every year in the college. One of the main event is Avishkar - A Technical Symposium Event. There are many students from sangli, satara, kolhapur and many more students from different states attend this event. In this event there are technical as well as non technical events are also there. Exhibition is aslo there in this event where students from everywhere come and show there handmade projects.

Campus Life

There is gymkhana located in college there one can do exercise and sport equipments are also there. Library consists of approximately 5k books. Digital library is also there in college. Reading room is also present in college for students to self study. Labs are also present to perform practicals with instruments.

Hostel Facilities

In Hostel three students share each room. Each room consist of three table, chairs and bed. Infrastructure is average and there is big corridor. Room are good in size for sharing three people. Approx 8k fees to be paid per year as rent. There are limited seats for students long distance students gets preferences first also seat are alloted on basis of score and also there is category distribution.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is pretty outdated. I am in cybersecurity specialization and there are only 2 subjects(starting from 2nd year) related to cybersecurity.and those courses are good but the faculty teaching them arent that great. they just read out the ppts, which they dont even share.

Placements start from final year. Students become eligible in 7th sem. Training sessions begin earlier. Aptitude and coding practice provided. Mock interviews are also conducted. Preparation quality depends on effort. Many service based firms visit. Some product companies also come. Roles include developer and analyst. Support and testing roles common. Core jobs limited for some branches. Multiple offers for top performers. Average package is moderate level. Top packages go to few students. Around half students get placed. Others find off campus jobs. Internships improve placement chances. My plan is skill based job.

Course Curriculum Overview:
