Remarks

Some of the factors that helped me choose this college over any other college was that my brother passed out of this college just a year back. He is currently working in a top tier law firm in Mumbai. I had the wonderful opportunity to be guided by him to join this college. I am confident to say that being a student of this college is the best decision of my life

Course Curriculum Overview

NUJS is a modern institute. It has all the facilities that one expects from a 21st century law institute. The course is spanned out over a period of five years in a systematic manner. So a student studying here does not have to fret about academic pressure.

Internships Opportunities

I have interned under a Judge of the Calcutta High Court. I observed court proceedings by being in the side of bench where judges sit. It was an experience of lifetime. I did not get a stipend but the advices I got from His Lordship is worth more than any money

Placement Experience

4

It is really up to the student on how he or she makes use of his or her college life. There are a lot of events and competitions happening all round the year. I would suggest a student to participate in almost all the competitions hosted by the college. This would give a phenomenal amount of experience for show casing in campus placement interviews. Otherwise any student passing out of NUJS has opportunities in every area of law be it law firms, judiciary, civils, in house counsels et cetera

College Events

4.5

The campus is a mere 5 acre one but the connectivity it gives to a student with both the city and Calcutta High court is worth mentioning. A lot of my friends have interned at the High Court. It is just half an hour away from the campus. Cinema halls and shopping malls are situated at a walking distance.
