Remarks

Because it was in my Cut-off range and also it was in Mumbai. So the travelling time and distance is reduced, as it is in Mumbai itself. Also it was NBA accredited at the time of my admission. The College has Lush Green Campus, a Playground at the backyard, 3 Turfs and gym as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

The facilities are good in our college. They are highly educated and they also have good experience in their particular field or industry. They try to make the lecture interactive and easier for the students to understand.

TCS, Infosys and LTI are the mass recruiters in our college. There are various other companies that visits our college for hiring students for their company. The College TPO tries it's best for bringing more and more companies in the campus for the students, it also organise various mock test for the students.

College Events

There are many events that are held in our college. Firstly, there are 3 Main technical events named Tantra, Oscillation and Techgyanathon, based on their respective departments. Secondly, the cultural event named Fusion is held. Various sub-events and competition are organised in Fusion. Many students from different colleges also participate in these events.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
