Remarks

Very few reputed colleges had a Biotechnology course back in 2010. Dr.D.Y.Patil Vidyapeeth was one of them. Additionally the B.Tech Biotechnology course didn't require Mathematics in 12th for being eligible.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is at par with that in other major colleges, Faculty members are very helpful and down to earth. The kept motivating us for our future.

Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

CSIR-NCB, Haldirams, Life CEll, are a few companies that offer internship opportunities. The college also offers foreign exchange programs to selected students.

Placement Experience

I do not have idea about the current situation, but back in 2010, the placement unit was in the birth stage and offered limited placement opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is slightly on the higher side on average. But, considering the other private colleges, it was understandable. I didn't get placed out of college and opted for higher education.

Campus Life

The annual fest was called "Cytosol". The library is well equipped with reference books. The college building and classroom had great infrastructure.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels, though expensive, were really good with all the facilities that we needed. It had badminton courts and mess facility.

After 1st year student can openly apply for internship, theon campus internship is avaliable after 4th Sem. The highest amount goes to Quant Finance and more than 75% gets placed for in-campus. The highest pakacemet was INR 3cr for the Quant profile.

The Overall experience of an average student

Placement Experience:

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Campus placement has good rate. Most of the students passing out get in-campus placements and some of them go abroad for higher education. The average package here is around 700000 to 800000. Very much reliable in placement perspective.

My dream college COEP

Placement Experience:

The placements offered by COEP are simply great. The percentage of placements in overall department is from 72 to 100% . The student are eligible as they get in 2nd year . The companies that visited are wipro , infosys, mircosoft and core companies like tata motors, mahindra, Bajaj auto , emerson, asian paint , bosch. Bajaj even has there school of automobile openned in COEP. Highest package is 87 LPAand the average package is 12 LPA. You only need skills to crack the interview percentage does matter in some height the minimum percentage required is 65-70 . As COEP offers best placements I planned on getting campus placement as well

7/10 college take on own risk
