Remarks
I chose to join Avadh Girls PG College because it has a culturally rich atmosphere , has great academics and excellent faculty along with co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. There are many additional groups and clubs, such as National Service Scheme club and NCC club.
Course Curriculum Overview
Not very latest, but they are updating the course gradually. Not enough industrial exposure, although there are a lot of lectures and seminars by notable people from their respective fields. The english department is excellent, especially Mrs. S. Katiyar, Mrs. R. Krishna and Mrs. S. Jain.
Placement Experience
We only have BA, MA and B.Com, so there is no placement. College Events
We have several competitions throughout the academic year, but the main events are inter college debate competition in October and nazrana e awadh in January. They are held on a large scale and many student come to attend this even from different cities. There are various categories to take part in.
Campus Life
Campus is very small. Small numberof classes, library is big enough and has a good collection, we have a basketball and tennis court, there is wifi but not for students. We do have a computer lab, and have equipments for practical subjects like Psychology, Geography and Anthropology.
