Course Curriculum Overview
The course was interesting, with a good choice of subjects and topics that were taught. We were encouraged to express ourselves, and the course was designed so that we would get an in-depth knowledge. It could be a little hectic, of course, with so much to study and remember for each exam.
Placement Experience
The Career Counselling and Placement Cell provides support and advice to the students regarding career choices and what to do after graduation. They provide skill development and any other help we might need.
College Events
An annual cultural fest is held at the college, called 'Nazrana e Avadh', where there are events like Dance, drama, quiz are held and students from different colleges compete against each other. There is also a sports meet is also held at the same time, and is also inter-college level.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is only just 6,300 rupees per year for the B.A. degree, which is a very affordable amount to pay across the three-year degree. It doesn't cost as much as many other colleges, and provides a safe environment and good education.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are provided to students coming from a weaker economic background. This aid may be in the way of fee or books, and is availed by contacting the co-ordinator's office. There's also a welfare scholarship available.
Campus Life
The sports and cultural meet is the most anticipated event of the year, with many students involved in the extracurricular activities. There are a number of different clubs in the college, such as Entertainment, social service, sports, dramatics, fine arts and eco restoration.There is also a students' council.
Admission
Depending on the department to which one applies, the admission process is either simply on the basis of a merit list prepared from the results of 10+2, or through an entrance test conducted by the department itself.
Faculty
The faculty members were nice and they provided us with notes that were helpful in understanding the topics. They would give lectures on the topic that were interesting and engaging, and their notes were very good, so it helped us do well in the exams.
