This college is a part of CCS University, which is a very old University of India.The college provides the relevant courses, including the one I wanted to pursue.The college is near to my home location.This is a government college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus is up to date and is changes accordingly, based on the further instructions from the CCS University.Our college provides the internship to the students pursuing masters in their campus.Being in the girls college, the faculty is quite maintained, in order to keep the security and safety of the students.The faculty of the Bcom department was quite good.
Internships Opportunities
No, I haven't done any of the internship yet. I am trying to pursue B.Ed for my further studies.
Placement Experience
The placement facility is available for the polytechnics students of our college.Most of the other students, pursue masters after doing the graduation and apply for jobs later, mostly off campus.Most the alumini students, visits the college at the cultural events of the college. Most of the students go for the civil service exams and try to give the exams for government posts.
College Events
Our college is divided into parts basically, one for the polytechnics students and other for the rest of the students.The events is hold separately for the both faculty.The college is used to hold some of the events such as blood donation camp, annual functions, freshers and farewell parties, nutrition week, cultural festivals at the events of Holi and diwali.Only the students of the college is allowed to attend the event except the blood donation camp.
Fees and Financial Aid
Each department of the college provides scholarship for their students.To avail the scholarship, one has to apply for it online through the CCS University official website.There is a separate scholarship, for the minorities students of the university.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the college is quite big and distributed accordingly, for each department of the college.The college has many labs including the Homescience lab, computer lab, language lab etc.There were two library, one for the graduation students and others for the post graduation students.Sport complex includes badminton court, basketball court and some of the places for indoors games such as chess, carrom, table tennis etc.
Hostel Facilities
There is only one girls hostel available for the students and it can take about 500+ students in for the hostel.In one room, there is maximum of 3 students can take.The fee for a student is between 10000 and 12000, monthly.The fee includes the mess charges as well, that means, no extra charges for the food facility.
