Points to consider before taking admission in Vidyavati Mukandlal Girls College for BSc Home Science

I really want that the admission process should take place on the basis of not only merit but also the entrance exam. It's because many students are enrolled for the course but they aren't good enough for the course. Because Bsc home science is a vast subject which covers different fields but many students take it for granted and don't study at all, which in turn leads to wastage of parents money. I prefer the entrance exam for the selection of students so that their caliber is tested.

Term exams were three hours duration per subject. For me, it was not at all difficult to pass but yes there are no chances of anyone passing if they do not prepare for the exams beforehand. Many subjects especially Human Physiology, Applied life science require deep knowledge and practice.

There are various famous companies which provide placement to students of our College in Bsc Home science. Among them, the most famous are the leading hospitals like Yashoda Hospital, Mariyam hospital, and food factories like Britania, Parle, etc. And many more.

From the 4th semester onwards of MSc, students become eligible for campus placement. At that time, many renowned and knows companies visit our College for Interviews and jobs. The highest package a student of our College received was last year, she received 50,000INR Per month. Most of the students get placement but that depends on their knowledge, presentation skills, and confidence. After I acquire a master's degree in food and nutrition, I plan to become a food quality officer.

The fee of the course per year is 30,000 INR, which makes it 90,000 for the full term of the course. Taking into consideration the fee structure of other colleges for the same course, it is a bit expensive. But I think that's what you get if you want to study at a place easily accessible to your house. No, I didn't get any kind of scholarship, Financial Assistance, or job on campus.

The annual feast in our College is termed as annual Day which is celebrated every year on 5th of February. Also, each year our College organizes a Blood Donation Camp on the 5th of January, which is open to everyone who wants to donate blood. Our College's library is well equipped with books on almost every subject and field. Our Classroom is airy and well-spaced. We have facilities of Chemistry lab, Human Resource lab, and auditorium. Our College also encourages sports activities in the form of events and competitions.
