Because it has a good Reputation for the course i have opted for and the fact that it provides integrated Bca and Mca which many universities don't so back then i was saving one year with integrated which i don't now, thanks to UGC. And also i was first opting for Btech at IPU. Which i wasn't able to get in a good college and Amity was my only option left.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Infrastructure is good, the faculty is good, the academics is good. I don't want to name a particular faculty because all had pretty good Knowledge about the subject they were teaching, just the efforts were pretty less. The rest is that everything thing is good from students to teachers to curriculums, Infrastructure and all are good and worth it. Just the fees is hefty.
Placement Experience
I don't know about this much yet. But what I know is that the college is willing to provide good placements and job opportunities if you're capable enough and if you have what it takes to be placed in a good firm. I have talked to seniors who were placed well with a Cgpa in 6.0 range because of what they were capable off to do in there stream.
College Events
Many Events take place in the the college. There is always something big going on every month and if we want we can participate in any event or activity that's happening in the campus and the Campus like is seriously fun, like you're social skills really boost around the variety of talented students in the campus and you get to know more about the real world. You'll be flooded with lots and lots of experience if you're willing to look for it.
