Remarks

The major reason was that this college is in my hometown so I wouldn't have to leave my family and go out for further studies. Amity is one of the best private educational institutions in India. The college will give you ample opportunities to grow and modify yourself and become more confident and be ready to face the real world. The presentations which take place on a daily basis will help you be more confident in front of the audience. The college conducts various events which help students showcase their unique talents. The air conditioned classrooms are such a relief in those hot summer days where you have to adjust in fans in most of the colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes, the college definitely provides you enough industrial exposure which will help you face the industrial world. The industrial visit, the events, seminars helps the students gain so much knowledge. The faculty is very generous and knowledgeable. There are mentors for each course and they are to help the students throughout their college life. The faculty members are either PHd or are currently pursuing it. They are concerned about the student's academic development and they work hard to ensure that each student would thrive when they go out in the industry. They teach with real life examples which makes it easy for the students to understand.

Placements are average. The lowest package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is 10 LPA. Companies who have visited are Flipkart,Airtel,Amazon,Federal Bank. Placement of the students also depends on the calibre of the students whether they are actually worthy of getting a good package or not.

College Events

There's no campus life in amity university Jharkhand because they don't have a campus yet. So for people who think they might get something like a noida campus are highly mistaken. The college has rented 3 buildings in 3 different areas to accommodate their college and staff members. The two main events are Amiphoria and Sangathan. Amiphoria is the annual fest which takes place around March or April and Sangathan takes place in October.

A good college for a student who is from not so good background.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered to students who are in their final year. Capable students can easily crack the placement. A decent package is provided of an average of 2-3 lakhs per annum. The highest package offered is about 7LPA. Many different companies visit the college during the placement period offering a good package. Companies like Infosys, cognizant, Wipro, puma, ceat, Flipkart, etc visit the college for placement. At least 70-78% of students get placed and a rapid improvement is seen in the placement graph of the college.
