Remarks

Best institute with developed lab facilities and fields among the private(affiliated) Colleges which comes under Tamilnadu Agricultural University,Coimbatore. It is near to my residence. I got it through counseling.

Course Curriculum Overview

ICAR'2017 syllabus which is followed by TNAU. Enough Industrial exposure(visits to Research stations, short tour, All India Tour) is available based on the syllabus. Friendly faculties while serious in Academics.

Class Size: 114Course Fees: INR 82000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are not sure. Alumni association was started in 2019 only. Some alumni got placed in ICAR institutes for their PG. Few only entered for Entrepreneur. Some got jobs in banks and placed in government jobs.

College Events

Sangamam -the Tamil fest, pongal celebrations are conducted every year. Sports day, Annual day, Hostel day are conducted hardly. Intercollegiate sports-SIICA (among Shakthi groups), ICET(Among TNAU affiliated and constitute colleges),SPORAC(among Agri universities). Intercollegiate culturals- Talentia (among TNAU affiliated and constitute colleges)

Fees and Financial Aid

I availed fees reduction through First graduate. Scholarship and loan facilities are available only for government quota students not for Management quota. BC and SC scholarships are available. Loan facilities are based upon students need.

Campus Life

No wi-fi facilities is available. Well equipped laboratories with enough fields for trial plots. Library has books which are related to subjects (Agriculture and Allied) and syllabus. Not enough facilities are available for sports.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are not so good. A room is shared among 4 of same year. Rooms are easily available. Non-veg food is not allowed into the campus.Only veg food provided in mess and canteen.Mobile phones are allowed in hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 85000 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is vast. But dental also deals with practical skills. So it's not that hard. The exams can be hard if you prepare at the last minute. But otherwise it's manageable. We write 3 IA and one final paper. And we get to write a mock paper before the finals. We'll be having model practical exams as well before the final practical exam.

Quite impressive

Remarks:

The infrastructure of the college campus is very good and peaceful as well. My college has a vast library which works from 8.30 a.m to 5.30 p.m on all working days and study holidays. Here if a student wants to borrow any other books other than his/her course, they need to seek prior permission of the Principal to get them books.

Entrance Preview:

Yes, Vanavarayar Institute Of Agriculture has its own basketball court. Besides this, the college also has facilities for other games and sports, such as volleyball, football, khokho, football, etc.

Admission was through the university counselling as very limited seats are there and therefore admission becomes tough.
