What Students Say

Likes

The structure of college is average but the management is considered ok in some areas but there are some time where management treat everyone like school students
The facility is teaching methods are some what ok for mebut in general it's not updated in current period
Placement is pretty much not that much good cause the maximum package is 4 lpa only is offered till now

Dislikes

Treatment of management with students like we are like a school students
Sometimes the leave also may be concerning
Boys and girls should not talk that much

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm interested in eee cause I'm always doing something which is related to electricity So that's why im mostly into electrical engineering I'm pretty much very confident about the job opportunity on the out side world

Class Size: 18Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

25000 per year but if your are first graduate that's only 5000 per year Bus fees is applicable accordingly to your destination Sc,st, scholarship is there Also other scholarship are there but for that you need to have an annual income under 3 lack in your family

Campus Life

Cultural are once in a year at the time of nov and Dec Around 400 journal is available There is a projector and a speaker for the PPT presentation in every class Sports is much appreciated in our college There is lot of club in our college our department club is espark

Admission

Compare to other colleges the fees is very much appreciated and the distance is ok for me The course is also some what ok Teaching methods can be improved more by the facility to ensure the understanding of students The exam date announcement and exam dats are always complicated

Faculty

The relationship between students and faculty is petty much very formal only cause they will be taking advantage of us at some point so that's why we should maintain a proper formal relationship in the college campus

Night Life

The cafeteria is quite simple but very much clear in look Public areas are more in our college There is a gym for the gym freaks Hostel is perfect as far i hear from my friend cause I'm a day scholar so I don't know that much

Time and Future

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

Placement Experience:

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.
