GIT Vellore Admission Dates 2026

Admissions for the 2026-27 session are anchored by the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) merit-based process - no separate entrance examination is required for BE and B.Tech programmes. The TNEA registration window is currently open and closes on June 2, 2026.

Diploma holders seeking Lateral Entry to the second year can apply through a separate TNEA Lateral Entry window. The application period runs from June 6 to July 5, 2026, with counselling beginning June 29, 2026.

ME applicants are processed through Anna University PG Counselling based on TANCET or GATE scores. TANCET 2026 results are available, and PG counselling dates will be announced by Anna University ahead of the August 2026 commencement.
