Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum at xiss is updated. Rural camps are the best part of this two-year course which gives the students a chance to get acquainted with the rural parts of India. It is practical exposure divided into 4 parts of ten days each which are intended to make the students survey the village with the traditional and modern mean, identify areas which need attention and prepare a project to address them. All of this is done in a participatory manner where the stick is handed to the villagers.

Internships Opportunities

The name of organization from where I have done my internship is Foundation for Ecological Society. This organization works for rural people mainly related to water and land conservation. The stipend I received was 15k pm.

Placement Experience

5

College has a centre placement committee to look after the overall placement. However each department has its own placement committee. RM Programme has 100% placement since last many years. The organizations come for placement are mainly NGO,CSR and NBFC-MFI

College Events

5

Xiss lacks at providing sports facilities as compared to other MBA college. However there is a well maintained Library with good number of updated books. Rural camps are the best part of this two-year course which gives the students a chance to get acquainted with the rural parts of India.

Placements in the college is not that good, or we can say it is left on to students. Very few student get the placement offers or the internship opportunites.
