Remarks

The college was very close to my house that is in Sarita Vihar and secondly I was given 50% academic scholarship which was very important. The infrastructure of college was good, good faculty, sports, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is very hectic but doable. Faculties are of PHD level with good amount of teaching experience and have sound knowledge of the subject they teach. There were a lot of faculties teaching the same subject so burden was also less.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 1000000 per year

Placement Experience

Companies start coming to campus from august and there are lots of opportunities. However the pay is not upto the mark as the college only wants to place all the students and doesn't care about the package offered. Also once placed, you were not allowed to sit again for placement until all the students were placed.

College Events

A lot of events went all year long like the sports festival called sangathan or the famous annual event known as the Amity Youth Festival. The campus was always visited by some celebrity or movie star. All this was a great attraction.

Campus Life

Central air conditioning and amity central WiFi was given to all. Labs were huge and had all the equipment and computers for every one of the students. Entry into the campus was very restricted so there was protection for the students from outsiders.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to become software engineer so that is why i choose B.Tech cse course. And the curriculum is good fit for real world application or further academic pursuits. They majorly focus on practical either than theory knowledge nearly exam occur in every 1 to 2 months and paper difficulty level is average not as much hard and not easy

A good choice for quality education and career growth

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 6th and 7th semsester the college has a dedicated placement cell that organise training sessions resume building workshops mock interviews and aptitude class to prepare students for placement Many companies visit the campus every year , including IT and sevice based comapnies . The most common roles offered are software developer technical support, data analytical and trainee enginer. The avaerage package can go upto 7 lakh while the highest package can go upto 52 lakhs . Around 70-80% of students get placed through campus drives while other opt for higher studies , internships or off campus job . The placement process is smooth and well organised bh the college. After completing my degree , i plan to either secure a good job through campus placement or improve my skills for better off campus placement.

AMITY UNIVERSITY - GUIDE 101 FOR B.TECH

I applied to SRM chennai and got the admission letter. but i had to choose AMITY because of lack of hostel accommodation in SRM for female students. When i got there they told me they had 0 rooms for so many students. I did not get a rejection, i had to reject SRM because of lack of hospitality for North Indian people at the reception desk. Admission process for Amity is quite moderate, you have to have 70% aggregate in PCM to apply for BTECH, and the students have to go through an interview round to get an admission letter based o nthe interview...Read More
