Remarks

Parking and sanitation is a major problem around the campus, inefficient management and administrative staff, the infrastructure is the one which is an eye catcher

Entrance Preview

Took the common entrance test, and secured a decent enough rank in it and went through a counselling procedure and opted for college of my choice.

Internships Opportunities

No, college doesn't provide internship but we as students have to find them on our own peril and stipend depends upon the whims of the individual seeking our services

Placement Experience

0.5

No placement cell in the college. The lofty claims of placement of this college are a hoax. Its just there in the brochure to attract the students and extract money out of the pockets of the parents of the students. The information provided is misleading and the promises that aren't mentioned in the brochure and are presented after or during admission are not to be blindly trusted.

College Events

1.5

There are moot courts and fests in college which try to provide a refuge to students from the monotonous schedule but in this attempt, fail miserably but attempts are to be appreciated at least. The college is a boring place bounded by silly rules where it is upon students to find their happiness. Cultural societies and moot court society aren't free from the politics.

Fee Structure And Facilities

63, 800 rupees per annum and its a 5 year long course and apart from it contributions for fests, registration fees for various events and for extra curricular activities. Overall its quite expensive and burn a whole in the pockets of parents of students

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarships provided by the college.

Campus Life

3.5

On average - girls in my batch are a bit on lower side than boys, Sports teams are there but only for the sake of it, internal politics is a indispensable part of sports and this college is no different. Extracurricular activities are there which are a bit of benefit for students. Religious tolerance is a thing which is to be noticed - no commumal thrifts are visibly seen in the campus. Economic status- people ranging from upper middle class and upper class predominantly form the crowd

Hostel Facilities

1

No hostel facility provided by the college but about the food, college cafeteria is not the place you probably want to see when you feel hungry. Food is not healthy plus also not pocket friendly for an average student no additions in the menu and same tasteless food daily available isn't a treat for the eyes

Alumni/Alumna

The way to write in exams, the way to behave in college and with teachers were briefed by the seniors and seniors are easily approachable if you try to talk to them

Exam Structure

Exam structure is divided into 2 internal exams that "CLAIM " impartial and transparent checking process. After that an end term external exam in which the checking standards are a still an unsolved mystery that happen in December- January and may - june.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty is qualified and the institute focuses upon providing quality education but while recruiting teachers sometimes makes mistakes and assign important subjects to teachers who are not experienced enough. Mismanagement and goof ups are part and parcel of fhe daily routine of the college but the faculty is qualified and dedicated to the job and only because of the lethargic management the good teachers have to suffer.

It's vast curriculum has made me like a lot of subjects and has also given me a real life applications and further academic achievement however I feel like the curriculum should focus on law subjects from the very beginning and teaching could be improved by further interactive session between students and faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very much practical knowledge based and helps the students to grow there legal reasoning which helps them to prosper in the profession. Also it helps them to read and correlate the real time judgements being passed, this curriculum prepares the students to understand the reasoning behind the judgements. Though the curriculum is practical knowledge based it still requires many improvements as these case are old and some of them are even overruled, also the we have to write very long answers which needs to be changed as new methods like ooen text book exams can be adopted to improving.

After 2 years of integrated courses, you can become eligible for a job. In law, there is no company, but if you have good communication skills, you will be placed in one of the high courts or supreme courts under a senior lawyer. I don't know much about packages. My plan was to go to Oxford University for further studies.
