Entrance Preview

I took the IPU CET exam which was held in the month of February 2012 and i secured 8932 rank in the OBC category and i got admission in GB PANT ENGG COLLEGE. I took admission in this college because of the fact that it is a GOVT college and also any thing that is Government has some value.

Internships Opportunities

Yes our college provides internship to the CSE students because of the coding part they have. Only one company came here last year but the name of the company itself says something.The company was 'Microsoft".

Placement Experience

Placement of our college is nothing just pathetic. Only one company visited our college last year and the bad thing is that the students who got placed didn't get the joining letter yet. The company was Infosys .The package that they offered to our seniors was 3.2 lakh per annum which is just average nothing to be happy about.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of the college is fine around 35000 per annum which is less than almost all the engineering colleges in the country. Because all the engineering colleges in india charge atleast 50000 per annum and most of the private colleges charge Rs 100000 and above per annum .

Fees and Financial Aid

Three scholarships are availed at our college first one is for the muslim students that study in our college . Merit cum means scholarship which offers Rs 25000 per annum to the students who come from a financially weaker background. Second scholarship is for the minorities SC/ST and OBC students this scholarship is called Post matric scholarship which offers Rs 10800 per annum to the minority students .

from 5th semester student become eligible for internship only and after 7th semester you are eligible for placements out of total students applyed about60 to 70 percent gets oncampus placement and rest offcampus is an option those who dont get oncampus placement get offcampus oppertunitys because of the nsut tag so that is an option to i myself get offcampus placement

Placement Experience:

My seniors got placed in the 7th semester and a few in the 6th as well. As per them, the placements are the best compared to all other IPU Colleges. Offers from abroad are too given here. For Computer Related Branch, placements are to 90%. Highest Package has surpassed 1 Cr, and Avg. package is about 8 LPA.

Walking you through ADGIPS

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, average package goes from 5lpa to 10lpa. Highest it has went 84lpa in Amazon so far and can for sure grow in future. 7th semester students become eligible for placement drives and companies like amazon, microsoft, newgen, tcs, ibm, etc are major recruiters here. Around 80% students do get placed but you can definitely be among them by refining your skills and maintaining a good cgpa. I plan to go for off campus placements as well as I'm interested in AI related roles but hoping for even better.

DTU , fun college life , good placements and endless joy

Placement Experience:

The placements are fantastic , many companies like google amazon and FAANG companies come here . Although i cant compare it with top IIT s but still a 25 lakh per annum package in CSE is still remarkable. The placement cell is often influenced by Placement coordinator but then DTU takes action against them and debar them from placements . If one does not get placement in DTU. , the DTU tag will obviously be more than useful in after course placements

Placements begin from 3rd year end and go on for the complete 4th year. Companies like ZS associates, google, amazon, juspay etc have visited the campus in the past. Highest package for the last year was more than 1 crore. Avg package is somewhere between 7-9 lpa. 50-60 % students get placemnt from the college including off campus placements. I plan to either start my masters or join a good job if possible as whatever situation arises at the end of my course at this college.

1.Eligibility is , You have to maintain under 1lac rank in jee main (if you are outside Delhi). There's 85% state reservation. If you have 3-4 lac rank(crl) and you belong to Delhi you can easy can get into this college(for OBC ). 2.Go to Jac delhi counseling web and fill the application form (fee is 1500) .
