Course Curriculum Overview

1. The study material and the subjects for the semester is predefined and not upgraded but those were relevant according to our branch. 2. TCS was doing a CSR program for our college and provided training for on campus interviews. 3. Industrial visits were done.4. Practicals were skipped sometime.

Placement Experience

2

During my college days, no company came to our college. We went to different state colleges for off- campus placements. They are not that keen too take steps for making the students placement ready. No internships were provided by the college.

College Events

3

Technical fest was conducted every year with great enthusiasm and with good to great ideas. Later we also conducted inter college events to make it diverse and more big. Cultural - It was also conducted with a lot of energy and it was a huge event. We used to invite the collector and minister of that region. Festivals - Republic day, Independence day, Ganesh puja, saraswati puja and vishwakarma puja was celebrated within the college premises with all rituals and beliefs. All the students volunteer and actively participated to make it a success

Fee Structure And Facilities

Program fee - 35000 to 40000 yearly tuition, lab and transport fees.Hostel fees was separate.Library card misplace fees or any book issue which is misplaced that was charged.Yes, fee breakdown was transparent. As it was a government college so it was feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

The state government offered scholarship on the basis of the parents annual income. My college was a government college so fees was less. I didn't get any scholarship or took any education loan.

Campus Life

Over all the college was good and also conducted such events during the fest. 1. Gender ratios - 6:4 I think 60% percent of boys & 40 % of girls.2. Student/Dorm Parties - Freshers parties were conducted.3. Workshops - Robotics and coding workshops were conducted every year. 4. Cultural societies or Student diversity - Students were not that diverse, most of them were from the same the state. Cultural societies were not there as such. 5. Gender - The faculties and staffs were gender unbiased that was a good thing. 6. Labs - It was there but it was not that frequent but we should to go to labs and do experiments. 7. Tech fest & cultural fest - Every branch CSE, Mechanical, Electrical and civil used to conduct there events according to their branch every year. They were good, enthusiastic and competitive. 8. politics and economic - Don't have much idea related to this.

Hostel Facilities

When I joined the girls hostel was under construction. SO, I used to stay outside in a flat with some of my friends. Later during my 3rd year girls hostel was ready. There were 6 to 7 floors huge building with mess in the ground floor. There were 3 sharing rooms for each one of us. Pg rent - 1500 to 2500.Food - 2000 to 3000.Facilities - In some places beds were available else it was a flat so our own belongings. Storage space were there.

Alumni/Alumna

There is an alumni community for our college. They are quite active in the Whatsapp group. I hope in the coming years it becomes more practical and we should be able to help the college and its students by providing on campus placements.

Admission

I have given OJEE exam i. e my state exam and I chose CSE branch for this college. Earlier I was not willing to go to this college because it is in the interior part of Odisha. So, later my parents and I went for a check for this place and surroundings. So, below are the factors because of which I chose this college. 1. The place was habitual and a small town.2. College was in the outskirts but not that far.3. College bus was provided as a transport medium.4. The staff and seniors told that the CSE branch faculties are good.5. I felt safe as a girl to study there.

Faculty

3.5

There were a total 9 -10 lecturers for my branch.Average age - 25-40.Qualification - M tech or above. Some of the faculties were expert in their subjects and were able to clear the doubts and the new professors were able to clear but not that much. Most of them were having less industry experience as per required.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Course Curriculum Overview:

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well MBBS is a serving degree, if you are interested in serving the people you can choose this degree. It also needs a lot of patience, here we have classes from 7 AM so its a bit hard to wake up this early & ends at 4 PM which causes more trouble coz u won't get to rest properly, usually we end up being tired & lack of sleep, so I think this schedule can have a bit more change with regards to us children. The exams here are done very frequently, as in the class tests are taken up time to time , sometimes surprise tests are also done so u have to be very updated with what's being studied each cls.The internals are held in every trimester & at the end of the year a product exam is being held which is the important one.
