You appear in the JEE exam to get a seat in this college. You can easily find the application form online site for JEE exam. Yes, reservation is available for St/sc. The admission process is good. If you get a good rank then you will surely get a seat here.

My father tells me to choose electrical engineering so I chose this course. For each subject there are 3 to 5 teachers are there. Their teaching level is so high average students can understand what they taught us. It is very difficult to pass the exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are a hosteller you will get a scholarship of more than 35000 and if a day border then it will reduce to Less than 30000. You will get this scholarship only if you have scored more the 60% on your exam.

Campus Life

On the occasion of Biswas karma Pooja a big function is done here. Dj night etc are done. Annual sports are held in December. NCC etc is the group that is now going to start on our campus. The students who want to join can join NCC

Hostel Facilities

Good rooms are provided its very clean environment There are separate hotels for seniors and juniors. The meal is good they provide fish curry, chicken curry, and egg curry. For registration, they charge semester-wise hostel fees. If want to rent a room you have to go to the nearest town bhawanipatna to rent a room.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Most of people go for PHDs and research after this course so the number of placements is a little less. Also, this unique Integrated Mtech course is new and the first batch of this 5 year course soon will be passed out. They are getting placement offers of 8-8.5 LPA per annum.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, AMAZON, SAMSUNG visited and about 7 to 8 lakh rupees package they are giving. Highest placement is 1.5 crore and the average package is 8 to 9 lakh rupees. About 70 percent students getting placed. I want to job in MICROSOFT.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem the students became eligible for campus selection. Companies like Infosys, EVEREADY, ACC , ultratech and many more offering annual packages starting from 2lakhs to 8lakhs. Highest 8lakhs annual packages and average was like 3.5lakh to 4.5 lakh. Approximately 70 to 80 percentage of students are getting placements every year. After getting the degree i want to do a job in electrical companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because at first I was interested to automobile engineering but I didn't got it from other college so I preffered this mechanical engineering. It is a very though course as it seems. And there was 1:7 for faculty and student ratio. Faculties were highly qualified and some did PhD and m. Tech and other are fresher. The teaching skill differ person to person. The thermodynamics faculty was very excellent. In every year there was 2 semester and it is a little difficult. And before semester there was internal and viva.

The Govt. College of Engineering College Internal Tour and Facility

I applied 3 colleges these are VSSUT, PMEC and GCEK . These 3 college i applied for electrical Engineering I got GCEK because it has more benefit for studing prurpose and getting placement it has better placement facility.
