Remarks

Seriously I had no idea about anything but the thing I heard was just that this college is affordable and one of the best college in Shillong which is very much true. So I applied for mathematics but there was no more vacancy. Then I was in a dilemma of taking statistics or geology. But i opted for geology because it has lots of scopes.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is up to the date maybe but we don't get enough industrial exposure. The faculties are excellent they are really caring and kind. Moreover they are very much concern about our life. Especially sir John Dickie HOD.

Placement Experience

The placements and job opportunities is not very good since very less students get selected. We give online exams for placement then have online interview if selected then they send us mail. I have no idea about alumni.

College Events

Talking about campus and college life we get one of the best life to enjoy which we would missed in our entire life. The events that they hold are amazing because it is done beautiful. There use to be full participation of the students and even teachers.

Campus Life

The sports facilities are not up to satisfaction, Wi-Fi is good, library is ok but needs more books, talking about labs we have very poor labs, needs to be updated especially our department that is geology.

Hostel Facilities

Our hostel Stephen Hall is one of the best hostel in the world. We learn many things especially like leadership qualities and growing together as brothers. The rooms and the other facilities are ok except for football ground. The PG too have to follow the rules and regulations of the hostel though they are seniors. They have all the facilities and rights as equal as UG.

Hostel Fee: INR 1600 per year

campus placements are okay, it is improving over time... averagely people get placed at 7-8 lpa and some people get placed at 12lpa. Many students go for off campus placements and there they perform very well. students have secured 22- 28lpa off campus.

Placement Experience:

Yes placement's are there because it's a NIT From 3rd semester you are eligibile to apply for internship and from 7 sem you are also eligible for campus placements Many companies visit our campus for the placements some famous names of coma pansies are adobe amazon flipkart Mahindra infosys tata black rock etc and the no of offers made differ each year but the average of offers remains 150plus Highest package of our college is 51 LPA Which is bagged by a cs girl this year from Amazon and the average package also differ by the branches but for mechanics and cs branch a the average package is as good as 10LPA Percentage of students greeting placed is very good for the mechanical and cs branch like 95% placements are there and for others branches also 70% placements is there So placements is not a big issue in this college ???? My plans are simple Mai have to maintains a good ointer to be eligible for campus placements and get a good job and settle in life

My life in NEIGRIHMS till now

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took admission in MBBS in NEIGRIHMS in 2021. Through my journey of three years and more I found that the faculties in NEIGRIHMS here are veruyhumble and kind. All the professor are very supportive and Good to everyone. NEIGRIHMS is not like others colleges . I personally feels lucky very to study in these college. Teachers here are very humble and they teaches very good . The way of teaching is excellent. They also interact with us . They always help very students in their academics. NEIGRIHMS being a central college the professor here is also very professional and prove in very steps that they are so qualified that they teaches us very well. I am very proud to be here and feels very lucky. NEIGRIHMS is also very beautiful place and campus here is looks amazing. There is greehy everywhere and flowers are blooming everywhere. They really care about environment and plant many trees every time. The campus view is very amazing. Students should really come here and enjoy the beauty here.

I chose this college as its just 100 KM but the other one was too far. Plus was expensive too as I come from a middle class family. And the course in the other college had a rule that you can't just pursue music and you have to take 3 degrees all together. So if you take BA. MUSIC you have to take BA. PSYCHOLOGY and BA. I originally wanted to go to Delhi university I even got the seat but because of the delay of the Cuet result I had to keep my option open. I applied to maybe 4 college one is from my local place, the other one is b.booruah,st Anthony's and DU. But since my Cuet results were delayed I ended up in stb.Anthonys I got accepted in the other two college which I applied for but since st.Anthony's was my second option I came here. In st.
