Remarks

the institution has got a good reputation, the education provided is best. it ha the course i wanted to pursue. besides i had got good grades which fetched me a scholarship in this institution.

the course curriculum contains 8 semesters and 32 labs and projects. the faculty focuses on imbibing the practical knowledge into the students. the students are always encouraged with projects and education.

the job opportunities in the institution are pretty good. the students are placed in the companies like amazon, cognizant and wipro etc.

the campus is really good. the management hold many cultural events which are hugely celebrated every year with honorable guests in the events. all the students are encouraged to join these events.

i would rate 3/5 because we want more systems to do our work as well as labs too,the main thing is we dont have that faculty compare to other department their are only 4 faculty,so they can't even able to take extra class for us ,so this is the main problem in our deparment

My Experience: The good and the Bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

The students from the last year that is seventh semester are allowed to attend the placement given on campus. There are not so many campus placement available. Many companies such as tcs, wipro and other companies basically giving less salary compared to other colleges. There are many few students who got placed in the companies through campus placement hence it cannot be trusted completely. My plans after getting a degree is to get a job or even higher studies of possible. The average students getting placed are very low.

Actually, compared to other colleges, this college had a better reputation in comparison with other colleges and it was in the range of my rank in COMEDK. I got scholarship in LPU,but LPU had an image that it is all about parties,so i didn't go for LPU. i got other scholarships from 2 different colleges in Delhi but i preferred to study in south india and mainly Bangalore because it is the IT hub of India.
