Remarks

I opted this university mainly because of its reputation and my course preference. I had in mind a university which would be affordable as well as offer great facilities and study environment. Aligarh Muslim University being a central university features in top 10 ranking of the country, so it has that reputation and facilities exceeds the expectations if you were to count what it is offering in minimal price. So, it was great to finally get selected and now that I have completed my graduation I consider myself eligible to recommend it to other universities prospects.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is based on cbcs system and it conduct exam half yearly. Mostly all bachelor courses are 3 years long but some professional courses are 4 and 5 years long also. Faculties are mostly well qualified and we'll experienced. Young faculties are more hard working than elderly, offcourse with exceptions.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunity varies for each department. Professional courses have high placements in the session compare to other courses. Medical and engineering student have good placements record, so for the management. There is necessity to improve it for other courses like BSc, BA and BCOM.

College Events

Campus Life is absolutely fantastic. Given the infrastructure, facilities. There are many festival and events in whole year that it gives adequate blend of exposure and experience to the outside world. Corporate fairs, job fairs, international conferences, seminars happens in large number over the year.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is quite good and robust. Library, community centers, specially abled person friendly commotion. Hostel buildings are well built with adequate bathroom and common area. Computer centre is yet another star which holds two well functioning computer labs with proper wi-fi connection.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA is really relevant for todays technology upgradations going on in world. I was into tech and coding so i opted BCA and since college is accessible by metro and have good name so i took admission in it and i regret not. Curriculum is up to date and changes yearly as required in recent technology and ties up with trends. There is no space for improvement as of now. Exams happen frequently like class test ans assignments and they make u study from scratch so there is no difficulty its moderate.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

AMU was amazing!!

At AMU seats are fewer and number of students filling the forms are enormous. Hence, the cut-off is always tol high and for BSC in any stream a minimum cut-off is over 80%. In my time it was 83 for Maths Hons and I guess, I was lucky enough to get it....Read More
