Remarks

Good college. Has good Facilities. It is nearby my house and takes only 20 mins to reach their and there is no other Govt. Offering Biotechnology course in Odisha. The other College is NIT.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is very updated.sometimes they even change the syllabus in mid year.Industrial exposure is very rare, if u want u can go by your own money. College will give only its name to show that u went on behalf of it.In our department only some Faculties are Good. The lab Assistant is of no use in any way.

For the Dept. of Biotechnology if a students gets a placement its a big thing.As most of the companies are IT or Auto related students in this branch of this College even suffer to get the Placement in Biotech related field. And if any student somehow got it then its because of the student not the college.

College Events

The only good thing in CET is its Campus Life. We celebrated Tech Fest and Cultural Fest.Both went good except Gajendra Verma's Show.Tech fest is a very good fest where people actually do something creative.

Campus Life

The campus is big but most of it are filled with jungles. The Laboratory building is a good place but the equipment in Biotech Lab are completely useless. Some the machines were even not working. Incubator is in very bad condition, Hand incubation is better than that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had taken commerce when i was in the college and the curriculum is very easy but some time its get borring because there are few subject are there where the teaching that the teacher is giving is either going above the head or not understable because those some subject have no use in the daily life and that are not usefull.

Honest College Review

Placement Experience:

Stduents get eligible from 5th semester for placements peaking at 6th semester of the college. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Tiger Analytics etc came but big pacakge placements offers are low . The highest package was 32 LPA and the average goes to 5-6LPA. The percentage goes to 90 % for placements. After getting degree you can go for higher studies.

College provides decent placement. For it and software sector placement here is quite good but for core beaches placement is average but still lots of companies for core beaches come. Nearly 105 companies have already visited our college as per the current placement cell information. My Honest Experience at KIIT University B.Tech CSE

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

A Good University

First of all mainly because of the location it is situated. It is in the Captial Region. I got some seats in NIT-R but didn't go because the seats that i got is all 5 year course and i don't want to study for longer period of time. So the admission process is quite simple.
