The reason why I opted for Bachelors in Social Work is because it is very useful for me as it gave me the opportunity to express myself completely and enhance my social skills out in the open. It also encouraged my inner soul to work in social welfare sectors, and contribute to our community. This has lead to helping our clients in a professional way with their emotional and psychological problems. The Department of Social Work is very interesting because they offer professional social work, the courses here offers tons of job opportunities. Most importantly, students do this course because they know that they are getting the education of a lifetime.The main aim of this course is to foster a positive attitude towards the organisation and society, to improve skills in solving complex organisational problems and to train the students to help out the developmental needs of all sections of society. However,the students here are highly encouraged to analyse services in the rural and urban areas to induce organizational and leadership skills, and creating sensitivity towards rural-urban community.

The courses and curriculum offered here in this University was up to the mark, the courses are updated every semester, the faculties here are really good, and they perform in there tasks of field very well, Faculty of Social sciences is one of the best ones.

The company?s visited here for recruitment?s are Adobe, Aon Hewitt, Asian Paints, ColumbiaAsia, Eureka Forbes, HDFC Bank, IBM, ICICI, Larsen and Toubro, NIIT, PayTM, SecureMeters, Siemens, Snapdeal, TATA Chemical Limited, TCS, Viacom, Vodafone, Voltas and Wipro. The placement process happens to take a smooth turn on the students as held here by our department as they look up for students having a master?s degree in this course as well as the companies too. The alumni networking for job referrals is actually very beneficial as it gives new freshmen?s of having a good job opportunity as a reliable quota which is trustworthy.

The campus life can be very much fun only if we get ourselves indulged in all the extracurricular activities, joining all the clubs and doing part time diploma courses. All this helped me a lot to kill my time and make it very useful, the festivals held here are enthusiastic and easy to participate which makes us wait for it to come back the next year. There requires no rules and regulations setup to participate in any kind of event or festivals all you have to do is just get yourself enrolled on time, because in the end it is the case of first come first serve. Hall functions which are completely monitored by wardens, provost and post holders of every hostels do require a certain set of skills so that they can properly maintain the huge events which are held inside the hall, events like hall week, annual day, Sir Syed day, etc

The infrastructure offered here by the college was all well maintained. whereas the resources offered by the University for all students were properly divided and utilised among everyone and throughout the entire departments and faculties.

There are many halls in our campus, mine is Abdullah Hall, and in this hall there are 5 Hostels all for graduating students with 2 wardens each monitoring every candidate. there are plenty of rooms, some hostels are 2 seater while some are 3 and even 4 seaters. Sometimes it gets difficult for students to enrol themselves in these hostels because of too many of them, in that case many of them shift over to P.Gs for there comfort which doesn?t cost much money and easily available which is near to our college.
