All in all Bits Hyderabad provides a lot of opportunities to develop yourself to a new personality with a better intellect and self confidence.

Entrance Preview

JEE MAINS: 196, BITSAT: 298. This was one of the best colleges that I could get with my marks. It is way better than many National Institute Of Technology. The course I opted for was because firstly at my marks I could get Dual degree course only and because of my interest in mathematics.

Internships Opportunities

I have not been to an internship till now since I am in my second year right now. But what I have seen and heard from my seniors, I find internship experiences very good and helpful. There are internship stations provided by the campus itself in collaboration with other companies. General stipend offered varies from person to person and station to station.

Placement Experience

It has been only six years since the campus has been built so right now the placement seniors is not at its very best. But its improving exponentially. companies for computer science come to campus every year and about 80-90% students from Computer science get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students with low family income can easily avail scholarship of up to 80% on tuition fee on the basis of their grades. Also State bank of hyderabad within campus offers Student loan with zero interest.

Campus Life

College life here is awesome. There are a lot of extra curricular activities and sports.like football field, cricket stadium, lawn tennis court, basketball court, table tennis tables, billiards, gym, volleyball court, carrom, chess etc.Also a lot of technical and cultural workshop are held again and again by the college clubs.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is pretty good. Exams are put up thrice every semester namely T1, T2, and comprehensive examination. The exams are not very tough and just requires one to attend classes with concentration.

Few one tell the reality of college

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester onward your placement is going to start in college. The percentages pf student getting placement is approx 75% .As i am in 2nd year so i am not able to getting knowledge regarding highest packages .

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for place ment . College provide placement of around average package of 4 laks. And highest package may vary is about 9 lakh,17 laks. It get ony one or two studentrest of anothe get 2,3, 4,6 laks. Many company visited .Like CYNTEXA, METACUBE ,TCS,INFOSYS, COGNIZANT, THRILLOHILIPA ,CONSULTADD. Percentage of students is around 60 percent students got placed who have skills. My plan to pursuning M.tech through gate .Because the companies don't give good package. But this is good in comparison to purnima and jecrc foundation .

The placement stats of the college are definitely above average. Last year's highest package was 63L and it was bagged by a computer science engineer student. Mechanical engineering had the highest placement percentage with almost 92% of the students appearing for placements, secured a job

Overview of CTAE

Placement Experience:

Placements of this college are good and has an average package of 4.5 lakh. Most of the students gets a on campus placement and almost 60-70% of students get placed from every batch. After 6th semester onwards students become eligible to apply for on campus placements in college. The main companies which offer placements are AppPerfect, Secure Meter, Vedanta, Wonder Cements, Advaiya, In time tac. The highest package is offered by AppPerfect which offers around 6 lakh to students, and average package offered by companies is 4.5 lakh. In Secure Meter 13 students are placed this year. In AppPerfect 6 students are placed this year.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students get eligible for placements which is from 7th semester onwards companies start visiting our college. The companies visited yet are:- Appperfect - it selected 6 students Securemeter Limited - it selected 12 students. Advaiya - it selected 7 students. There are many companies which will visit campus soon. Till now Appperfect has provided a package of 5.5 lpa. The average package is of 4 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is around 64. My plans are of higher studies.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

The students become eligible for placements after the 5th semester. The Companies visited there are Byjus ,Hdfc, etc. Almost 70 percent of students are placed on college campuses. After my degree, my plan is to sittings for placements.

Honest BITS Pilani (Pilani Campus) Review

I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey. The admission process is through the BITSAT exam, an online test includes Physics, Chemistry and Maths and English and Logical Reasoning. There is no reservation policy.
