Entrance Preview

I wrote BITSAT, I scored 258. I opt for it because of its location and course facilities. It means that location is very good for this particular course because it has better industrial linkage. Also it has new infrastructure facility.

Internships Opportunities

College had 2 internships. First one named ( PS-1 ) comes after second year that was of 2 months inwhich a short overview of industry was delivered and then comes ( PS-2 ) in fourth year that was of 6 months that was a real industrial exposure. The stipend ranges from 5k to 50k. I did in ace business and research group, surat. There was 10k stipend.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements was above average. Almost everyone got placed. Some from my batch went to core companies like cipla, reddys etc. While some went to Analytics, IT sector. Out of 23, 20 got placed while rest went to US for their MS program.

College Events

4.5

Technical festival name is ATOMOS, cultural festival is PEARL and sport festival is ARENA. They are not that big like festival's in IIT's because they started 4 years back only so they are not that popular.

Fees and Financial Aid

Merit cum need scholarship is there which is merit wise distributes in 100 , 50 or 25%. There is no loan facility provided by college.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio was 1: 3 among girls and boys.campus is good. It has new infrastructure and there is very much to learn here. Extracurricular wise it is better because here many clubs are there for various activites. Labs are newly furnished and almost every new and useful instrument, you will find there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams and their questions, I would rate the 8.5 out of 10 in term of difficulties because of twisted questions. In class their is always class test , assignments , and presentation which personaly I consider good to boost the confidence and presentation level. Teachers use both board and projector for teaching, it mostly depends on students how they want to learn. Companies like appollo come to tell us about them and how we can do better which is a good thing.

Remarks:

A few negative effects are debt, partying, sexual assault, missing family and friends, and stress. Positive effects are he/she gets a degree, makes new friends, becomes more diverse, most likely gets a good job after graduating, and helps he/she to become more independent and grow as an individual.
