Remarks

Because it was a new college, and the college was providing the field which i like to go in that is port and terminal management sector. And work was 70% practical and 30% theory. And i was also looking this type of college. So that's why i choose this college for my graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course syllabus was also too good. And it was too interesting to go with it and understand it. Yes, we had 2-3 monthly study visit in companies which are related to our port sector like: CHA, FREIGHT FORWARDER, SEA PORT, WAREHOUSES, LOGISTICS SECTOR was also the part of our study. Our department HOD - milind kulkarni sir. Sir use to teach us very well in this sector. And he had experience of 25-30 years in this port sector.

Placement Experience

5

Placements and job opportunities are very good of our college. As our college symbiosis has become a brand. So the companies tie-ups are very good. Big companies, MNCs, multimodel companies take the students directly for job or as on internship. Our placement department of college is also good, faculties are also good, because they co- operate with every student till they don't get better placement. Placement process is also simple. Companies will come in our college as per our students need. Then they will conduct a class for the students whom they are gonna take, and they will guide students. After that an exam will be conducted related to that field. And then who will crack it they will go for personal interview. After that selection will be done On the basis of performance. After that they got placements.

College Events

4

Campus was all good.at our time there were so many activities use to held in every week like quiz competitions, sports week, fashion show, dance, singing competition, debate as well. Participation were also in a big amount. As it depends on our college strength.and sometimes big celebreties or any great person use to come and guide us for our future.

Campus Life

Yes our college infrastructure was very well devloped. Sports facilities like lawn tennis court, badminton court, basket ball court and many more. Size of the library was also big. Capacity of 150 students to sit in it. And all kind of books and magzines are available there any time. What all equipments are neccessary are availbale there for us to get the things practically and easly.

Hostel Facilities

Yes first year i was in the hostel. Infrastructure was very well. Two hostels we there girls and boys. Total 50-50 rooms were there in both the hostel.and 2 sharing in each room and every room has its own toilet and bathroom. There was a mess in between both the hostels. In which both breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, dinner is available for who are staying in hostel itself. Gym and playing room was also there for hostelites. To avail for hostel is easy in our college. You only have to talk about this in college department. Any if there will be space u will get it fast.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mechanical engineering has been the most interesting and very formal subject from the starting of engineering schools. Also, my interest for automobiles, automoblie industries and mechanical subjects is the driving factor for me to opt this course. But, as the subjects has evolved, so not the curriculum. Core mechanics subjects like thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, mechatronics comes in 2 nd and third year of curriculum which is very late. No changes in subjects and curriculum according to real industry. The curriculum is not up-to-date which rather waste the time of student inistead of learning new skills and skiils which are required in the market. Also the exams in the our college, has been the same like every other colleges. Viva, course projects , industry projects, and written exams. Curriculum needs a mojor boost like it need to add new subjects through which we can learn skills to be industry ready, in addition with the core subjects. Moving on to topic of exams, and overall the exams are easy to crack and the difficulty is medium. The good part of exams is that every subjects has its own course projects which require every set of skills. There are 4 course projects and 1 industry projects which require a lot of skills and in the process we learn many software likes solidworks ansys and cutocad like softwares.

Placement Experience:

Placements are usually pretty average of 7-10LPA and usually students with CGPA of 7-9 sit for the campus placements. I would say around 40% students get placed decently. If no campus placement, the course is so diverse that you can easily get jobs if you have the skills.
