Remarks

Honestly one of my friend suggested me this college. natively i belong to Nagpur. And i wanted to take admission in MIT, KOTHRUD, but ended up in SAOE. and i am not sure but sometimes i regret my decision of being here. In a summary i can say if you took admission here especially in CS, IT OR MECHANICAL,you won't regret, because in respective branch place is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

You will love the crowd of this college, Every syllabus is updated, and staffs are well trained as well as explained. we often goes for industrial visits. one of my favourite staff was poojari maam, when i was in first year. now honestly speaking I can't mentioned a single one because i love teaching of all sir n ma'am.

Internships Opportunities

I wish i could, but all thanks to covid-19. as i am in civil, rarely companies come to the college. i remembered 2 companies are there, but i didn't fit in their criteria. And then the pendamic come. now i am sitting at my home and waiting for college to reopen.

Placement Experience

2

If you belong to computer science and information technology, you don't need to worry about the placements. almost 90 percent get place as large no of companies visit and for civil which is also my branch, 10 percent people get placed. alumini are there. you can entract with seniors and super seniors for any kind of job opportunities. I remembered previous year our mechanical team goes for racing competition in Japan,

College Events

4.5

One of the biggest concert of pune is organised by this college, popularly known as Sinhgad karandak. we have tech fest, sports events, and many more. I can happily say that you won't believe how fast a year goes because of these fests, and events.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you belong to sc/st then you will love the fee structure of this college, about 1200 a year and you will get scholarship of more than 10k( not sure exactly). and for obc you will received scholarship of 50k. and sad for open ones you have to pay full fees. if you didn't took admission on the basis of JEE OR MHCET marks.

Campus Life

In case of infrastructure you will surely love this college, big building, spacious classrooms, techy labs as well as classrooms. even this college has its own water treatment plants and waste treatment plants. Big playground, gurden, hygiene canteens. 9/10 for the infrastructure.

Hostel Facilities

Honestly speaking, i never liked college hostel. no doubt infrastructure is good, but the atmosphere of hostel is not good. i recommend you to look for pgs or hostel outside the college. and yeah mess food is really bad. The quality of food is not good as compared to outsiders. Facilities are like hot water, clean washrooms, guard, electricity backup are there, but i will advise you to look for outside if you go there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the key aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the B.Com course at Sydenham College was its strong foundation in core commerce subjects such as Accounting, Economics, Business Law, and Finance. The structured progression from basic to advanced concepts, along with exposure to subjects like taxation and auditing, made the program particularly appealing for students aiming for careers in finance, CA, CS, or management.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
