The syllabus set by the sppu university is quite good but at present the autonomous colleges are doing far better because of the current industry knowledge is given to them. But I feel there will be changes in future

From 7th semester students are eligible for placement but. The companies that visit here are like TCS, wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, atos etc and many more there are almost 40 percent students who are placed sometime the percentage hikes upto 60 percent if the batch is good.

The current fees I am paying is Rs-112000 per year as I belong to genral category. But my friends who belongs to some category pay accordingly less fees like for SC it is 3000 for obc category it is 60000. And from management they have to give full fees as per the student form genral category even if they belong from SC or ST category.

The infrastructure and the college structure is quite good. They provide a clean and quite campus which is a must. All class rooms are provided with projectors and there is wifi in hostel which gives quite good speed. There are two main events that happen one is techtonic which is organised by the aces club of comp students and the other is bollywood day traditional day etc.there are other clubs for the respective department like itsa,etsa,art circle etc all the clubs are active and good

The facility of rooms are not much like they allow you to have laptop but does not allow induction pe kettle inside the room. The college mess is very okish like not the best food but typically mess food. 70000 includes your hostel accommodation and mess also. But there are other various pg options just outside which are quite reasonable at a price of about 60000

I had applied to modern college in Shivajinagar but I didn't got there because of 1 percentile less. But then I cam to sar college which is not at all good because the staff is not at par the industry knowledge. They have very limited knowledge about the subject and don't have the teaching skills

The faculty is not good as they just come and read out the ppt to students and there is not much interaction with students they are just focused on finishing the syllabus, not caring about weather we understand it or not . Many of the. Faculty members are leaving the colleg

The most favourite hang out spot for the students is china point where most of the crowd goes. The other one is bopdev ghat from where you can see the whole pune. The campus in timings for girls is 9 pm on weak days and on Sunday till 9:30 and for boys it's till 10pm Although the more common places is the back gate of bharti vidya peth
