Remarks

College location was close to me comparing other colleges. Also the railway route was opposite for me during rush hours so it was easy to travel.College has a reputation of good passing percentage.College is at walking distance from Virar station.Overall it was quite convenient for me to choose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course was according to the university.Quite fairly designed for students.Industrial exposure was none.Theres no campus placement facility.Sports faculty is quite good.Academics are quite focused and the teachers are very best at their job.

Placement Experience

0.5

No placements available. No industrial visit. And this was quite disappointing.Company placements plays a crucial role for students and motivates them.Placements are available for other faculties but none in Pg as per my knowledge.

College Events

4

Cultural is the soul of the college.Participation is huge and unbelievable. It goes on for like a week. Many events goes on right from traditional day, dance competition to annual day. Each and every professor and student are so involved.immense energy is felt.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no loans availed.Special % reimbursement for reserved category available. They provide installments option on requests only if necessary or extreme conditions of students.I have no knowledge of scholarship I guess the reimbursement part is kind of scholarship to the reserved category students.

Campus Life

When I took admsn there were two buildings known as old viva and new viva.Old one was not satisfactory.New one is quite amazing and beautiful.sports facilities are awesome over there.Library is appreciable.Lab equipments are quite accurate and maintained.

Hostel Facilities

No hostel facilities as per my knowledge.Virar is quite cheap as compared to main cities in mumbai. It costs almosts 4-5 k a month rent over there. And 1-2 k for pg rent.Students can settle quite comfortably.

Placement Experience:

Placements at VES Polyetchnic are decent for a diploma college. students generally become eligible for placements in the final year.Pacages depend on the company and branch, with some offer going above 4 LPA. the placement cell also helps with interviews and internships. after diploma, many students also choose to continue with higher studies

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum specially the first two years focuses more on subjects like history, political science etc and prepares are foundation for law. The curriculum is well inclusive of the practical aspects of law as well as the theory which prepares you well for the real world applications. The course can be improved via adding the amended laws like add in GST to the taxation laws. The internal as well as semester exams are conducted once every semester. The difficulty level is easy to moderate for both. We get a study leave of around 20-25 days before every semester exam to prepares ourselves well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Placement Experience:

As I have heard people mostly get placements from this college itself. If not they go for their degrees and take placement there. The salary is mostly around 5 lakhs per annum which is decent enough for most students. According to the principal from the college if a student studies afterwards for degrees this number racks up to 18 lakhs.

Remarks:

Laxminarayan Institute of Technology is a reputed institute, when it comes to the field of Chemical Engineering. The placement at LIT for M.Tech students is also decent. In my batch, 50% of the students were placed on Campus, which is better than many NITs for Chemical Engineers doing M.Tech. The admission fees of 27,000 per year is also less in comparison with other institutes. The Teachers at LIT are also vastly experienced. Also the Institute was in my hometown, which made my decision even more easier.
