Fantastic experience it was in VCET all these 4 years.

Entrance Preview

I passed my HSC exam with 85% and opted for Mechanical engineering in VCET college. This was one of the best colleges for mechanical in Mumbai.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The subjects were really tough for mechanical syllabus but the teaching staff made the journey a smooth sailing one. We had to learn subjects outside mechanical too like software which was really tough.

Placement Experience

VCET has a good track record of placements and companies in the top brass visit VCET. TCS was the first company which I gave an interview for that was the start of my excellent career thanks to VCET for giving me the opportunity.

College Events

Zeal, an annual event and many event is celebrate in this college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was affordable and not so high. .

Campus Life

Sports were conducted frequently in VCET.

Faculty was one of the best in the Mumbai university. This is because the emphasis was laid on clearing the concepts rather than completing the syllabus. All our queries were addressed promptly and the concepts were cleared right first time.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Should I go for VCET ??!!

I stay in goregaon and for me travelling in the reverse direction is easier than travelling to other colleges. The timing of the trains and the crowd is also pretty managable. I did apply for various college. KJ Somaiya and Xaviers are the college were I was accepted but according to my comfort I chose this college. As the Fees is also reasonable and the traveling time is also saved, So for me it was a the comfort zone I'd say. And other college I was rejected due to the score was not compitent as they needed it. It takes admission on the basis of CET JEE so the admission process is almost online they do have their institute round on their website for which the result is also given on the website itself....Read More

Review about recent upgrades at VCET

Admission process is smooth at the college. The management is very clear with all the instructions. Eligibility exams are MHTCET and JEE mains and also diploma in related field.
