Course Curriculum Overview
It was a two-year long degree where the examinations were conducted in the form of final examination called external and class test known as internal. We had practical examination conducted where we were taught about various fruits and fruit breedings. 3 to 4 subjects were taught per semester and curriculum was very interesting and stressfree.
Placement Experience
The college used to arrange jobs at the end of last year where different agricultural agencies came to interview like FSSAI, food agency, Indian fruit culture, and many more. The selection was on the basis of practical skills and merit. 85% of the students got selected and had an average package of Rs.10 lakhs per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Rs.63,651 was the approximate fee for first year which was feasible and forth. It could be submitted in the form of online and off-line methods but no cash was accepted in the university. The hostel and travel fee were separate.
Campus Life
The college was beautifully constructed with big playgrounds where the students would play all kinds of sports and we had student clubs like art, music, dance, theatre clubs. Students came from mainly agricultural backgrounds but there was a lot of diversity.
Admission
There was an entrance examination conducted called you UPCATET. I apply to this college through their official website and filled in my academic details, I did my bachelor in science and agriculture and opted for the fruit science for the master degree. I was called upon the campus for the interview session and was enrolled for the course.
Faculty
All of the faculty were well-known professionals and PhD holders in respective fields. They were all very helpful and humble throughout the curriculum and helped us to communicate with them better. They were all very knowledgeable in their fields.
