Remarks

The best thing about this University is that this is like 20 mins walk from my home and as a part of my fitness regime, I usually used to walk from home to college with my friends and it used to be the best time of the day.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus of the college is really vast and include every aspect of the public health and the safety issues with the society. We were taught toxicity, malnutrition and all the challenges with the public health.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement cell of the college brings so many companies to the college, for my course in particular, most of them are the NGOs but the average package offered by them ranged from 3-5 lacs depending upon the skills of the students.

College Events

5

There were so many events organized by the college and the faculty used to motivate us to take the participation in all of them for the personality development. Most of them used to take place in the ground.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is good and given such an affordable fee structure, we could not ask for more. The college cover all the basic requirements of the students and provide good environment overall.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Like everyone knows in which carriculum they are interested ,similarly i know i have a keen interest in my subject i.e. physics . We can't see physics as a theoretical and mathematical aspect but in our daily Life we use to experienc it . Like if something is fell down there is a reason behind that is gravity .we use to experience physics in our daily life . Some teacher use to make us feel for that subject but someone make us bore sometime. It happens rarely but sometime it happens. So i suggest them to change some activity Like teach with more energyso tha we can't get bored. Sometime we get very lengthy paper in the exams so everyone have to prepare before the examination with high speed.

Placements in our college start from 7th sem, some internships in 6th too. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini visited. Highest package around 12 LPA, average 3.5–4 LPA. About 70–75% students placed, others go for higher study or govt exams. My plan is to try campus first, then off?campus or masters later.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I has a vision to study English from the very beginning. I wanted to study English since i was good at English and also the most important thing was me being an isce student upto class 12 which inculcated a strong English base in me English as a subject is very vast. As the world is heading towards modernisation English has become a very important thing. Gossner college has good English professors and also i heard a lot from most of my seniors that gossner college has best English faculty. The frequency of exam is 2 exams per semester where the portion tought in the syllabus is asked and it's not very easy and not very tough too

Mechanical branch in terms of number of students placed is quite high but if it is about how many students get elite packages it's less. The average for our branch at our college is 8-9 lakhs but top companies which are into our core space for long are our college partners.

My plans after degree is to pursue masters or right away get on with my family business as we are already into trading chemicals. However, from the number of students from our stream that apply for jobs through campus, over 80% are placed from campus. Labs to industries that deals in manufacturing of chemicals and exporting the same are the ones where students of our college get the opportunity.

Highest package from our campus is eye catching as it's 56 lakhs and for chemical branch it was 34 lakhs. HUL, Sun Pharma, public limited labs and various R&D research centres are those that have helped us to get best available jobs in market as the competition is high but BIT Mesra has still managed to place over 80% students last year.
