Course Curriculum Overview

The course helped develop the student?s intellect through practical learning. Examinations were held at the end of each semester. There were both theory and practical examination which prepare the students for final examination. The subjects helped us understand the real depth of this course.

Placement Experience

4

The college was among the top colleges for MD in Microbiology and the students passed from here were well placed in India and abroad. There were no campus interview provided to the students but after passing from the college we got job easily. This is one of the reputed colleges thus offered the best placement to each student. Most of my batch mates and our seniors were placed in big clinics, hospitals, and few opted for research work.

College Events

4

Along with academics there are many events celebrated in the college. Institute of Human Behaviour & Allied Sciences is a multi-faceted college and they celebrate annual cultural fest and many events. There are many programs for students, staff and faculty of the college. Apart from that there were common events celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee of the college was feasible for us and it was around 8000 INR for each semester. The hostel fee was also minimal and economic for all the students. Our college provided offered quality education and placement with such low fee structure. And I personally feel satisfied for the money offered for this course.

Campus Life

There were several extracurricular activities organised in the college itself. We attended different club meetings and participated in the same. The college was very inclusive when it comes to accepting people but many people were very open minded in nature. Various sports like badminton and chess were sports I took part in. Apart from this we had movie club and each Saturday we watched our favourite movies.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network was quite strong. Alumni members helped with placements and internship and were supportive and co-operative. Moreover the seniors visited juniors and motivated us and shared their experiences. And I am happy to be a part of the network aswell. We stayed in touch and used to meet and cherish our memories once in a year.

Admission

Candidates were expected to qualify 10+2 from CBSE or any recognized State board. It was compulsory for the candidates to have PCB in their 10+2 i.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates were expected to have a graduation degree. Applicants who had a B.Sc degree along with the mandatory subjects were also eligible for the IHBAS MD course. Candidate were given priority if they have passed MBBS from recognised university or equivalent.

Faculty

4

The teaching faculty of the college were excellent and they were well up to date to current knowledge. Faculties were talented and experienced and were actively involved in all the activities and they were very much approachable for any problem. Our faculties were scholars from top universities; we also had guest lecturers who visited our campus from abroad.

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option
