Since this is the only college only for women in Bankura district, many girls opt this college for their security. It also undergraduate courses in arts and sciences and also the teachers provide interactive e-learning resources to the students through LCD projectors and Interactive learning software and have a good relation with the students.

BZSM College offers UG course with 3 years. A graduate student can apply to the postgraduate program. The course deals with Geography, Political Science, Bengali, Sanskrit, History, English, Economics, Philosophy, Music, and Education for B.A and Mathematics and Economics Physics and Chemistry (Proposed) for B.Sc.

There is a devoted placement cell in BZSM College for its students. It helps the students to get the best job opportunity. They conduct personality enhancement and grooming sessions for its students in areas like behavior skills, interview facing skills and overall personality development of students.

Fees will be submitted after the verification of documents and the final merit list. The fee structure is feasible, as ?3,112 for BA, ?3,520 for B.A {Hons.}, ?4,315 for B.Sc {Hons.} and ?3,407 for B.Sc is chargeable every year.

The college conducts the Legal Awareness program, Lok Adalat. They also conduct different games such as musical chairs, Rope drawing games, inter-college, games competitions, cultural fest, fresher?s day, etc. The students are satisfied with the college lab for Geography, Physics, Computer, Chemistry, and Maths.

The important criteria are that BZSM College offers admission only to students from WBCHSE/CBSE/ISC board of education. The students belonging from SC/ST or any unreserved category need to show their valid documents at the time of admission. Also the students opting for BA or BSC (Honors or General) must have at least 45% in aggregate in their Intermediate.The students who have completed their higher secondary education with valid minimum aggregate marks are eligible to apply for BZSM College UG courses. The college select students for UG courses on the basis of merit. If the students are selected, they will be informed with the counseling dates on the website of the college.

This is a private college with highly qualified professors. There are over 40 esteemed professors in this faculty. The faculty has the vast knowledge of Bengali and English.
