Course Curriculum Overview

The lectures include mock tests, group discussion and debates on various concepts and issues. The curriculum is manageable as the subjects each semester is equally distributed and the final exams follow a pattern that has questions that has a lengthy answer.

Placement Experience

The placement cell formed a successful recruitment drive last year. They managed to get hold of some recognizable companies for the placements. For internships, I found no luck. I had to research about them on my own.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The yearly fees is very feasible. The strucure of it is clearly mentioned on the official website of the college. The college is affordable for a large number of population of West Bengal including the lower section of society.

Campus Life

While arts such as dance and drama would welcome students for auditions and participations, I would have preferred to have more debating competitions in the college as well as representation outside college.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni connection is well connected. While I am passing out from college this year, I am in touch with them as they can help out with the career options I can work on especially during this pandemic.

Admission

The process of enrollment is much simplified. The college wants their student to get 80% - 90% in their 10+2. The registration fee is mandatory to be filled with the amount Rs. 300/- charged for final submission.

Faculty

4

The faculty of my course does not participate in the college politics. They refrain from sharing any strong opinions on issues which allows the students to share their viewpoints that are majorly accepted by many.

Placements and Governments seats after UG is very competitive although. In upcoming future everyone will going to focus on larger production in limited land/cultivation area so Agriculture will be needed today and tomorrow.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My passion and a bit of curiosity in International Relations led me to choose this course. The curriculum, in fact, prepared me well for further academic pursuits. For improvement, educational excursions and internship opportunities should be made available. The exam is held twice a year on semester basis, with papers set at a moderate to difficult level.

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

There are limited on campus placement opportunities here, especially for Arts and Eng Hons students. Most students focus on higher studies, competitive exams or off campus opportunities after graduation. The college provides basic guidance through teachers but formal placement drives are rare.
