Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was meticulously planned. The curriculum was designed keeping in mind the requirements of the hospitality industry. The course was taught to us through practicals. We had to appear for the semester exams and also had an internal assessment.
Placement Experience
BHMCT recorded the highest placement percentage of 16 per cent. The average package offered to students was around 3,00,000 per year. Though there is a scope of improvement in the placement and internship opportunities, I was quite satisfied with the initial placement I found.
College Events
There are several cultural and management festivals organised by the college. The most famous cultural event organised by our college is miss L.A.D. Everyone waits eagerly for this fest. Several competitions are organised during this fest like an open mic, Mehendi, rangoli, turncoat debate etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee charged for BHMCT is quite low as compared to other colleges which offer the same course. The fee for my course was around 19,000 rupees per year which could be paid in instalments and through online medium only.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of our college is well built and maintained. There are e fully stocked computerised libraries with internet facilities. The college pays special attention to sports. Our College participates in several university and inter-university sports competitions. There is an adventure club as well which promotes the personality and character development of the students .
Hostel Facilities
There is a hostel facility which houses approximately 250 girls. The campus is spread out across several acres of land. The campus is cast and beautiful. All the basic amenities are available in the hostel. The rooms are spacious and airy. The washrooms are attached with each wing. The mess serves vegetarian meals, snacks and beverages.
Admission
The admission was pretty easy. I had to fill and submit a common application form in the college with all the relevant details. The admission was merit-based. After getting shortlisted I had to get my documents verified.
Faculty
The college faculty included experienced members of the hospitality industry. They taught us through interesting teaching methods. They were not only our teachers but our guides as well. They mentored us at each and every step.
