Remarks

The admission process of LAD College is very smooth. The admission counselors were very cooperative and helped me to fill and submit the form. For B.Com, you have to qualify 12th in Commerce/Science. I belong to SC Category and hence availed the quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of B.Com in LAD College is very thorough. I chose this course because I was very keen to learn the subjects that were in it. The faculty teachers have a command in their subjects and teach every topic in detail, in a very approachable manner. All the teachers have masters in their subject of teaching, some have P.Hd too. The term exams very conducted regularly in each semester and they had a moderate to difficult level to pass.

Placement Experience

The placements of the college is quite decent. TCS came to recruit students from our batch. The highest package was about 3 lac PA. About a quarter of the students were placed in our batch. However, I don't wish to work for now as I want to pursue masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very affordable for even a general category student. They also provide government scholarships provided by DTE Maharashtra as I opted for Freeship to waive my tuition fees. The institution also provides campus placement opportunities like TCS comes every year to recruit students of LAD and the package it provides is also decent.

Campus Life

The campus life at LAD is awesome. It's of kind experience. Every year week-long cultural fest AURA is organized and every student participates with enthusiasm. MISS LAD is one of the prominent part of LAD College which it conducts every year. I must say the library is really huge and all the books are available. There is NCC too.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

There are no campus placements offered in my college. The placements after completinh the course are great About 80% of students are placed. The highest package offered/expected for bcom course at this college is 5 6 lpa, About 90% of the students get internships easily with this course at the position of bank accountants etc.

Placement Experience:

De Shaw, and Bain Capital are among the biggest companies and lighter companies are also many. Visa and all are also there which are rare otherwise. For b.com though 30-40k is what is offered but I feel it's fair enough.

Mithibai College of Arts is Music to ears!!

Placement Experience:

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.
