Course Curriculum for BA Hons for Sociology was really well structured and amazing. We have semester exams as well as suprise test. Exams are conducted at the end of semester. Course is of 6 Semester which is of 3 Years.

Placement Opportunities are very limited with annual package of Rs 300000 per year with good experience one can earn more in following years as there is good chances of growth in the future. India have good scope in Sociology in Future.

East Calcutta Girls College was my first choice for my BA Hons study in Sociology. Admission was online and and College kept us updated through their website and also through their notice board. I filled online form and then merit list was announced and then I got my name in merit list.
Faculty
Professors are well qualified with Masters degree. Each and Every professor keeps attention towards students so they can learn in good manner . Sociology Department is amazing and I am really enjoying learning this course.
