Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of this college is totally fine and they have all the subjects which are very essentials for this course of BA in geography and the hours spent in this college is never wasted they are always a good course curriculum that is always helping us to get started

Placement Experience

There are some job opportunities in college which are given by the college but not very good in amazing opportunities are there but I will leave that if you are having a good knowledge and skills when you will get a job by yourself

Fee Structure And Facilities

In this college there are different fees for the different courses you are choosing and also in this college there are nri students also studied here and it makes our college at a very good standard 6000 rupees we have to give every year this is fees

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities is good labs very nice and just clean sports field are also very nice and one of my everything in this college and all the events which are organised by the college are also just amazing and they are making it so grand and meaningful

Admission

10 + 2 you if you have all the mark sheets of 10th and 12th standard and you are passed in it then you are eligible for the admission in this college after that they will have a merit list system plus an interview system

The college i study in is very good

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards are ready for campus placements. The students from our college gets a very good college placement at a very nice company and salary. The percentage of students getting degree are 80% and my plan after my degree are to become "Company Secretary or job at SBI".

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

ASSAM UNIVERSITY SILCHAR , THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The practical learning of the subject. It provides quite deeo learning into each subject. As the course provide theoretical as well as practical knowledge it becomes quite easy to apply the knowledge to further academic of occupational pursuits. Also it provides 3 months internship after the completion of the course. The improvement areas are the teaching methods of some subjects like pharmacognosy, social pharmacy, etc. Exams are conducted in a time interval of every 2-3 months. The duration of the session exams are 1and half hours while that of final exam is 3 hours for each subject.
