Course Curriculum Overview

The course is of three years, 6 Semistars and as it's a honours course in travel and Tourism hence the core subject is Tourism & Travel Management in which we are been taught the managerial skills practically as well as theoretically and we will have to take a practical training with the help of Dept. of Tourism Govt. of West Bengal.

It's a part of course curriculum to do a practical training once with the help of Dept. of Tourism Govt. of West Bengal. Which basically to prepare us for great jobs. Further the placement cell itself also helps us a lot practically to prepare us for training for placements and provides career guidence to us.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure of my college isn't much it is easily affordable for all of us students in my course [BA] {Hons.} (Travel and Tourism) total fees of three years that is to be in the college is INR 5,000

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships opportunities in my college is good there are various government schemes available as well as the college itself provides with scholarships opportunities for the meritorious or needy students. And fees concessions are also provided to us students Based on their merit and socio-economic background.

Campus Life

My college always with great students participation and enthusiasm among students assures to conduct extracurricular activities in the campus on a regular basis through a student union management Every year cultural and literary competitions among the students are arranged in the College.

Admission

Currently I am seeking knowledge at under graduate level in [BA] {Hons.} (Travel and Tourism) and for admission I applied for online application for admission of this college and got selected on merit basis in the qualifying examination. For eligibility in this course a student must be passed in 10+2 in any stream from WBCHSE/ CBSE/ISC with minimum of 45%

Faculty

The faculty is well qualified and are very approachable and helpful to us. They teach us about everything in the syllabus of the subject with great zeal or passion to teach us in an effective or efficient manner.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

Placement Experience:

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

There is no exams as such, however people will have to apply through the portal and have to pay a very small fee for registration.
