Best days of my life

I took comed-k exam for the admission purpose and i scored 61 which got me a ranking of around 19000. I opted for the college because its the best in belgaum and one of the top institutes of karnataka.

My course had a mix of both mechanical and management subjects. As far as my choice is concerned i like more management subjects over mechanical so i really use to enjoy my subjects. Electives included total quality management, advanced foundry technology, supply chain management etc.

I had done my internship in belgaum itself. It was a small scale industry and i got a stipend around 2000 per month. Duration of myinternship was 2 months.

Again placements are the best in whole of north karnataka because we get around 30/35 companies every year and we also get good packages offered. But i feel like most of the companies come for IT branch people and companies relate to my field are very less and their intake too is less when compared to IT people.

We have a whole lot of events throughout the year. It may be technical, sports or cultural. Most of the events are of national level so we get participants from whole of India. to name some of the events, ocolus, aura, colloseum, panchjanya etc.

As i had taken admission through comedk my fees were on the higher side that is i use to pay 1.35 lakhs per year. But for the people taking admission through CET, fees was reasonable. They use to pay around 30 thousand yearly.

I have no idea about anything related to this nor i have availed any of this. But i think they provide scholarship for army people sons/daughters because one my friend use to get it.

Our college life was good and we use to have fun a lot. And as far as extracurricular activities are concerned, i myself am a sportsmen. I was in both my college football team and athletic team.

Alumni network is mostly using the technology these days that is on facebook and other social networking sites. But seniors close enough to me are in contact with me using the cell.

I guess we have the best faculty for mechanical in whole of north karnataka. They use to be very strict but after passing out i realised that it was for our good because my basic knowledge helps me lot in my job and thats all because of my professors. So i would rate them 10/10.
