Course Curriculum Overview
Maharaja Bir Bikram College is one of the best government colleges so all the courses have very strong and comprehensive curriculum. I had a lot of subjects which included practicals as well. We had lad classes too.
Placement Experience
The placements opportunities are average in our college. To be fair, most students go for masters so there are very less students who opt for placements. The students can opt of teaching jobs in schools and colleges and Maharaja Bir Bikram College helps students to get them.
College Events
A lot of events happen all around the year at Maharaja Bir Bikram College, starting for festival celebrations to educative lectures and workshops. The college looks at good exposure for students so that they grow holistically.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees for my course was 4000 per year, and I paid a total of 12,000 for the entire course. This included the tuition fees only. The exam fees are charged separately and so is the library fees. It is a government college so the fees are pretty inexpensive.
Campus Life
Our college has a lot of extracurricular activities. There are coaches for football and cricket and we have a good team that goes for tournaments to other colleges as well. We also have music and dance clubs in our college.
Admission
Admissions happen on the basis of merit list. All you have to do is score 55% above in 12th. My score was 61% so i filled the form and submitted my documents and got shortlisted on the merit list. I was then called for counselling.
Faculty
The faculty of my college is very good. They give importance to the progress of each individual student. they take frequent doubt classes and extra classes to re do concepts asked by students. The lab teachers are also very good.
