Likes
- Campus size is very huge. There are many departments with Many big buildings according to our state's govt. College.
- Experienced HOD's in all the departments. They maintain their department very well
- Smart class room is available in most of the departments which is very useful for the students.
Dislikes
- No college bus is available. You have to come in your own vehicle.
- Irregular timings. The college lacks punctuality. Sometimes the department is locked in the morning and the students are waiting outside.
- Bad maintenance in the arts building. Inside This building there is a lot of smell coming from the bathroom
Course Curriculum Overview
Firstly the practical they give us is very relevant to our course and also they took us to a real world field survey apart from the bookish knowledge to gain the knowledge of practicality. The exams interval is very uneven. Sometimes the semester ends in 4months sometimes it took 8 months.
Internships Opportunities
There are some departments which do internships but our department don't have any so in this particular topic I can't say much. But as far as I know the internship to be done are not paid . It's non paid.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees for girls is totally free of cost and for boys it is about 900-1000 Rupees per year (per semester 500 rupees approx). And the scholarship is paid accordingly the scheme you have applied,like if you applied for Ishan Uday then the scholarship amount is approx 50k per year and if caste wise it's something about 3000 rupees per year.
Campus Life
The one of the main attraction of this college is it's campus . It is very huge and beautiful with all the nature elements making it peaceful to refresh our mind in between classes. There are many programs held in this college like Saraswati puja, freshers party etc . This college also have a central library.
Admission
1st of all this is the first degree college in our state Tripura and it has a very good reputation. 2nd thing is that this is a govt. college so I don't have to pay much. 3rd this college had the course which i would pursue that's why I choose this college
Faculty
Like in our department ( geography dept.) the teachers are very good they interact with us through whatsapp group and keep us updated about all the things and they are also very educated and skilled. They also interact with our parents every year.
