Remarks

The college infrastructure could have been improved, the mess facilities are good, faculties are good, the sports events are conducted and we get ample opportunities to showcase our talent and learn from peers.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is approved by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). The exams were really tough, you need to prepare well, the drawing and sketching is quite cumbersome at times. The college has adequate labs.

Placement Experience

1.5

The college needs to improve upon the placements of the students. As an architectural student you will have to find your own internship with your practical knowledge and if your work is good you may continue there.

College Events

4

The college organizes seminars and a number of technical events through which we can show case our talent and learn from the peers. The extent of these events is upto college level only. It would be great if students get to participate in national and international events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In this college you will have to pay Rs. 50 K per year based on the type of admission you have taken, for three years course it is approx Rs. 1.5 K , it is not expensive keeping in view the facilities being provided by the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is offered to minority, SC /ST and OBC candidates by the Karnataka State Government and you have to submit all relevant documents in the office. I am not much aware of any other scholarship offered there.

Campus Life

The college conducts a number of extra curricular activities and sport events. It is you who will have to find out your strength. These events helped me to stay fit and healthy during the course and also increased the team spirit.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels infrastructure is very good and you get rooms on sharing basis. You will have to share the room with two or three students.Hostel facility is available for boys and girls both. The hostel seats are generally available and you don't have to rush for it.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is not that strong. Now some of the students are initiating to form a strong alumni network. The senior students help you and guide about the nitty-gritty of the college functioning and culture.

Admission

For getting admission to this college you need to prepare well. The basic eligbility criteria is 10+2 examination with 50% marks in aggregate. Passing NATA or JEE (Mains) Paper-II is required. At the same time you should have aptitude for drawing.

Faculty

4

Good lot of faculties are present in the college. You will get help from seniors more than the faculties. Though most of them are well qualified and takes interest in teaching and guides you. There are good visiting faculties too.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice
