IIT Palakkad has a vast campus with new buildings and all the facilities have been made available to the students and the faculties are also gentle while addressing the issues about studies of the student.
Course Curriculum Overview
The senate of the IIT approves the curriculum and the IIT has two computer science labs that has more than 100 computers in each lab. The students get regular assignments and tutorials. The level of exams is tough.
Placement Experience
Studying at IIT and completing the course with good score has ample opportunity of growth for the students. The college has a placement cell and the companies select the candidates and provide good career opportunities.
College Events
A number of workshops, cultural events and seminars are conducted through which we get exposure to the latest happenings in the field of engineering and the requirement that we would have to meet after completing the course.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is obviously high and you have to pay almost Rs. 100000 per semester so the total fees for eight semesters works out to Rs. 800000. The educational loan is available to the students through nationalized bank like State Bank of India.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Government of India Scholarships are applicable to the students of SC/ST and to physically challenged students. The SBI, Kanjikode provides loans for tuition fees under a scheme known as Vidyalakshmi.
Campus Life
You get students all over the India and this provides a good experience while participating in extracurricular activities. The labs are having all the necessary equipment's to be used by the students.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are very good. The rooms are given on twin/triple sharing basis. The cleanliness and hygiene is the best in itself. Hostels are available for girls and boys. The hostel is safe and has got all the modern amenities.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are helping us to complete the assignments. I have a number of seniors known who keep you giving the tips to find a better way of completing the assignments and sit for exams. This helps me a lot.
Admission
The minimum eligibility for getting admission into IIT is passing 10+2 with PCM. I cleared JEE Mains and JEE Advanced and interview was conducted and I was allotted IIT Palakkad. It is a new campus with facilities coming up.
Faculty
The faculty is well experienced and takes care of the students. They are interested to solve the queries of the students. You can call them and they will guide you. I feel under their guidance I am looking forward for a bright future.
