Remarks

Ranked in top 10 among the best colleges in fashioning designing field by INDIA TODAY in 2019 and In top 10 in fashion technology by THE WEEK in 2019. This college has done some great work in making the careers of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very simple and very interesting. Its a two year master program with a basic teaching of clothing and fashion in first year. Afterwards in second year, students will be taught some practical knowledge about the field.

Placement Experience

The big companies like TATA INTERNATIONAL and BOMBAY DYEING and many more visits the campus every year for campus recruitment. These companies offers different packages which are based on the experiences of the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is moderately expensive or almost same like other colleges for master. You will find that B.F.Tech is more cheaper than MFM. The overall fee foe the course is Rs.4.54 lakhs. The first year's fee is Rs. 2.25 lakhs (126900 for 1st semester and 97800 for 2nd semester. Second year's fee is Rs. 2.29 lakhs (121700 for 2nd sem and 107600 for 4th semester).

Campus Life

This college provides many extracurricular activities like fashion shows, exhibitions, design showcasing etc. The participation is for all the students and it dose not promote any kind of partiality to any kind of student.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of this college is very good they always help their students in hard times. They all are well experienced with almost all kind of situations. Seniors are also great in sharing their past experience with the freshers.

Admission

The eligibility criteria for taking admission in NIFT is the candidate must have a graduation degree from a recognized institute/university. The candidate have to pass entrance test (CAT). The selected candidates have to go through a FROUP DISCUSSION round and an INTERVIEW round in order to perverse a seat in NIFT for masters.

Faculty

Almost all the faculty members have done Ph.D in their respected field. Students can find their contact information on college website so that they can ask about queries even after college hours from their teachers.

Placements are in my college starts from 7th semester. Core electrical engineering placements are limited, and mostly IT And specialisation Branches get more placement opportunities. The average package in my college is moderate and also depends on skill. Many students NIT Patna prefer the GATE examination and higher studies. If no campus placement is offered to me then I will plan to continue my family business and after getting my degree, I will join a good company and save money to invest in a good running business

Nothing influenced me yet i just have to go for it because of my graduation . Yes they prepare you good enogh for the rat race you are gonna do in coming future . The curriculam is a joke they will put information today and you have to get today only . I would suggest some of the rules and regulations should be maintained by the staffs and students even with teachers. Exams should in such manner no student can atleast face problems regarding admit cards and can cheat . there is no difficulty in in mid one but final one .

Placement Experience:

Other collages like NID which is considered very prestigious and India's number one design college, is very unique and different from nift which is only a fasion based coursive college, it has frequent fashion shows and events which only focus on Fasion related stuff, the course which the course which I took which is fashion communication promises to teach us animation and various other subjects like photography and videography film making and various other digital stuff but as I came across the course and teachings I got to know that it is only based on fashion related stuff and when the student goes into industry exposure it is very difficult for the student to work in an environment which is not based on fashion related stuff so NIFT is very different from NID.
