Course Curriculum Overview

My course curriculum was very informative. I had so many literature subjects as well as other allied subjects. Our course had a lot of essays and written submissions that improved our grammar and vocabulary.

Placement Experience

Earlier the placements opportunities were not that great but the college has set up a placement cell that help students prepare for interviews. Companies like Jio, Airtel etc have started to come and recruit students for voice process jobs.

College Events

All festivals are celebrated at NSM. Apart from that annual picnics, farewell and freshers' parties are also done for students. They make the environment very inclusive and warm. I love the cultural programs that happen.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very nominal. It makes education accessible to even the weaker sections of the society which i feel is wonderful. I paid a total 8500 for all three years as tuition fees. Hostel fees were separate.

Campus Life

Our college has a lot of clubs and groups to promote participation in extra curricular activities. There are dance and music competitions and shows where students from different colleges come to participate.

Admission

I opted for B.A (H) English for which the eligibility criteria requires you to get a minimum of 60% in 10+2 from a recognised board such as CBSE. I scored 62% so i got shortlisted after filing up the online application form.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is very very good. They helped us immensely to understand the literature pieces and gave notes that helped during exams. They also conducted tests regularly so that we are up to pace.

Placement Experience:

The Students here can apply for CDC Placements in Final Year and if I tell about B.Tech. Specifically then in 7th Semester of their course. Many prominent companies visit here for recruiting the brilliant minds like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Intel, Qualcomm, Samsung, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Barclays, IBM, Texas Instruments, Tata Steel, L&T, Bajaj Auto, Flipkart, American Express, Infosys, Wipro, PwC....and many more. There isn't any data provided by our institute to us stating of the highest and average package by particular comapanies and the profiles offered. But I can tell you of my department's 2023-24 CDC Placement drive: We had the highest no. of offers that is 128. Highest offer made was 1.4Cr INR pa and Median and average package offered were 21-22 lakhs pa and 25-26 lakhs pa respectively. almost 87% students had got placed in the last placement season. The 2024-25 Placement season isn't over now, but till Dec 2 2024, again we had the highest no. of offers that is 20. If I talk about my future plans, I want to go into reasearch in VLSI Industry in future as the VLSI is Tech of the future.

A short review on nsm

Someone who wants to take admission he needs pass 12th pass or equivalent qualification then after the college notice it's admission period of its respective website . The admission period start after the declaration of 12th result of wbchse. There is a good number reservation is available for the sc,st and other backward categories. The examination process held after every six months throughout the course duration. The exam level is not much difficult it's moderate to eassy . I think the college needs to improve their admission process in some areas like the process of its quite slow and fees of its also quite hard for the backward classes which needs to improve as soon as possible.
