Course Curriculum Overview
A normal day at IHM is fun-filled as we remain busy with the various aspects of the highly interesting course curriculum which we follow at IHM. Its a six semester full time course of study which aims at equipping the students with all the required skill set and attitude necessary to be successful in the Hospitality sector.
Placement Experience
IHM provides outstanding placement opportunities to its students. Including both on and off campus interviews, there are around 20 interviews that take place every year through which the students get placed in some of the prestigious properties.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The first year fees at IHM of around INR 28,550 summed up with around an amount of INR 17,950 of the second and third year yields a total fees of around INR 64,450 for the entire BSc course, which according to me is quite affordable.
Campus Life
IHM houses modern laboratories which include the fully equipped computer laboratory and the food production laboratories. The food production laboratories include the bakery and confectionery laboratory, the basic training kitchen, the quantity training kitchen, the advance training kitchen, CBSP kitchen and diploma kitchen
Admission
NCHMCT JEE is the entrance exam through which students are selected based on their All India Rank (AIR) for admission into IHM. I appeared for NCHMCT JEE after completing my higher secondary because of my childhood interest of going for Hotel Management and got IHM after securing a good AIR.
Faculty
The teaching staff at IHM consists of our Lecturers, Sr. Lecturers, Asst. Lecturers, our principal and our HOD who all are very enthusiastic in providing us the best hospitality training and education.
