Course Curriculum Overview

Our college offers various courses and I had opted for diploma in food production course which is the course of one and a half years. The course curriculum is very interesting and students are exposed to practical knowledge is well which is very much important for Hotel Management to go with.

Placement Experience

The best part of our Institute is the placement facilities provided to the students. It does not guarantee 100% placements but every year almost 70 to 80% students are placed in the best companies. Companies such as the Leela Goa, dominos, mainland China, Emirates, Park Hyatt, Zuri group of companies look forward to place our students in their companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This is one of the best institutes of Hotel Management in India and the fee structure is also feasible and many can pay it. The fee structure for diploma course in food production is 43420 rupees for 18 months. The fee structure is not too expensive as compared to other hotel management institutes and thus I preferred to join here.

Campus Life

Our College conducts various extra curricular activities for the students. it conducts activities such as awareness about health and hygiene, awareness on diet, food fest cook without fire and many more. It also conducts seminars and conferences where great dietitians and top Hotel managers adress the students to make their future bright.

Admission

Institute of hotel management is under ministry of tourism government of India. To get admission in this Institute I had to apply online. After filling the form I was asked to submit my 10 + 2 certificate switched must have an aggregate percent of 60%. It is also compulsory to pass from an English medium board. I also had to attach my transfer and migration certificate along with the application form with the application free mention in the college website.

The students of last movement of 6th semester or almost 7 semester are eligible for campus placement. Many reputed companies have visited the college for campus placement, recently The MRF tyres have visited. They have no of openings but they have their own selection process like written test, Personal Interview, Group Discussion. They select the students on these basis. The highest package was 10 LPA offered by JSW steel pvt ltd, and the average package is 5 LPA . Almost 30 to 40 percent of students got placed before their degree completion. Most of the companies offered Graduate Engineer Trainee Post.

For placement there is seperate Building, that place and cell . From 3rd year of college everyone can apply for placement. For IT many companies visiting like Wipro , TCS, and may more . But for Civil Engineering there is lack of opportunities for getting placed .

Overall experience review

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty members are very cooperative as per my experience. They were nice and helped me alot in a lot of procedure and doubts. They are well qualified, ph.d in their respective fields/subject they were teaching. The teaching methods were quite good. I mean if student who read books/ do self study and who concentrate in what they saying can easily understand it. Although it was distance learning college they take classes before the examination. Exams were always took on time but because of corona the schedule was Disturbed. But now it's fine. Difficulty level of exam is quite similar to any other universities. If you study well you'll pass. But I never seen any student got 90% or above atleast not from my commerce stream.
